It looks like it has an overheating problem that causes it to disconnect. They offered to replace my Tornado modem with a new one of the same brand but I insisted they give me another brand so they gave me Linksys Wireless-G (WAG200G) ADSL home gateway. Now I'm not going to rush on anything, but at least this one's smaller in size, has better signal coverage around the house and it doesn't make much noises when you lift the phone like the Tornado did.
Happy? Hell yes I am.
Satisfied? Not yet because I want to make sure I won't have to pay them another visit. Ohh and one last thing, hoping someone of United Networks would see this message...
One phone line for testing internet connectivity in your workshop?! Pffffftttt... Even my house has three phone lines and your workshop doesn't. =/
Few days ago I have posted my first impression[*] on United Network and mentioned that they gave me "Tornado 2440 ADSL modem & router", it turned out to be a total rip off. It keeps disconnecting off the internet and never connects again until I turn it off for more than 30 minutes! It's been one week and now sh!t like that start to happen? I called their customer service and the guy said there might be something wrong with the configuration, how in hell would that happen if it had been working without any problems for five days straight? I think it disconnects because it overheats. *curses* I will have take it on Saturday and ask for replacement.
If you're willing to go for United Networks internet service just make sure you don't get this retarded modem.

Future Cat Low is my newest pair of Puma's, it's very sleek in looks, very comfortable for walking and comes in large variety of colors. All Puma foot wear are good and this one's exceptionally great. All Puma's are a little bit overpriced compared to other brands, however, the down side of this one (this color to be exact) is that it gets dirty pretty quick. You can easily notice any dirt spots or scratches on its white surface but then again, if you take good care of it, it'll remain as new.

"Traffic Rules in Kuwait:-
1. Right of way
Right of way belongs to the vehicle which has it’s bumper 5cm ahead of another, irrespective of whether approaching from the left or right.
2. The Kuwait scissors
When in 3 lanes of traffic, all traffic wishing to turn right should occupy the left hand lane and vice versa. One must then wait until the last possible moment before crossing the other two lanes at right angles to the traffic flow, to do so too early is to lose face.
3. Overtaking
There are four ways to get past the car in front; to the left, to the right, over the top and underneath, also known as undertaking.
4. The weave
Never hold a steady speed in one lane. You can gain as much as 20 meters over a distance of 10 kilometers by continuously swerving from one lane to another whilst invoking rules 1 and 10. The minimum speed for this maneuver is 150kph.
5. Right of way (buses)
Buses do not have right of way; they just take it. Bus horns are frighteningly louder than any others. There are some official boarding and alighting points but the buses will drop off and/or pick up passengers at any place, any time, in traffic, provided that the passenger is sufficiently fleet of foot and oblivious to the threat of traffic flowing around him.
6. Pedestrians
These may cross the road when, where, and however they wish. Be they old, young, agile or decrepit, they have the right to step into the traffic and dodge, dance or merely stolidly move across. However, motorists are encouraged to do their best to hit them, preferably at speed. (Even on the pavement) Motorist should note that most motorway bridges are 1000m apart and that pedestrians will cross at 500m intervals.
7. Traffic lights
There are nine possible combinations of traffic lights in use in Kuwait, they being; red, amber, green, red plus amber, red plus green, green plus amber, red plus green plus amber, flashing amber, and all off. Any selection of these can be found on any one set of traffic lights. The meanings of the various arrangements are not known, but if crossing when the lights are red (or any other combination) and you see a car crossing in front of you, make sure you hit it squarely in the side, if possible, at speed.
8. U-turns
These are used for changing direction and carriageway. If possible try not to pull out if a car is going past in the outside lane of the carriageway you want to pull into. If you are in a hurry, the somersault and roll method is a quicker way of achieving the same result, but avoid the lamp posts in the central reservation.

I went to my friend's place today to watch the match between France vs Italy [3-1!!] (and Kuwait won vs Australia [2-0!]) but that's not the story. My friend's younger brother has two Macs, iMac G5 and MacBook 2.0GHz (white), he uses Alcatel Speed Touch modem for his ADSL connection and it connects via USB 2.0 link. His MacBook was connected to his ADSL modem and he wanted to connect it on the iMac to play online games (C&C: Zero Hour) so he had to disconnect the modem, as soon as he pulled of the USB link, his MacBook crashed! When I asked what's wrong he said he doesn't know and this happens everytime he disconnects the USB link. He said this happens to his iMac as well!
I went home, grabbed my PowerBook G4 and came back to try his modem on my Mac and guess what, it also crashed as soon as I unplugged the USB link! It is impossible, in my opinion, to find the problem in our Macs, so I'm quite sure the problem is something with the modem itself.
As for its connectivity speeds, with 1mbps connection it is amazingly fast. It comes with a CD to install drivers on Windows and Mac plus some other applications (that don't work on Mac even though they're made for OS X 10.3+).
Now that I know about this awful downside, I do not recommend it for any Mac users. Besides, I'd rather connect through either Wireless or Ethernet. Why waste USB hub on something like this?
