This is by far one of the best ads I have ever seen in Kuwait. The main reason I love it is because I've experienced that attitude from older guys. Yes I was one of the poor generation of those unfortunate ones who always get kicked out by mustaches.

Knocking Man Utd. out of Champions league is not only an accomplished mission but also a poke into all Anti-German football fans.

You see, I'm a diehard Bayern Munich fan and I admit lately they don't have consistent shows nor the team spirit like they used to still they showed the most typical aspect of German football... Constant resistance and fighting spirit to die for.

Now that we kicked some hooligan be.you.double.tee.s I can happily see my team getting knocked out by any other team because to me what matters the most is winning against Real Madrid and Manchester United on all occasions.

More MacBook Pro news and expectations

According to ComputerWorld.com writer Seth Weintraub new MacBook Pros and maybe MacBooks will hit the market somewhere between mid October, predictably the 14th (give or take a few weeks).

He has listed some expectations on the MBP and what it might get equipped with. [link]

Some are amazing features like that OLED keyboard but I highly doubt we'd see it on next generation MBPs. Even if it's true it would probably be optional and costs a lot.

Bad luck?

His name is Jerman, he's Dutch, he plays pro indoor football/soccer... and I happened to play against him in bo-5amseen tournament.

Our team reached a good point in that tournament then we had to face BMW team where Mr. Dutchman plays. At first I didn't know who the *censored* is Jerman. Everybody kept telling me to watch out from him and be cautious and stuff... I did not give a damn. That's where I learned the hard way. In simple words "I got OWN3D". :/

Quest Club

Here is a simple theory on QuestNet vs. Fight Club...

Now I'm sure a lot of you have heard about Quest.net communities worldwide. Based on network marketing, Questnet is basically "spreading the word and getting money for doing so". Just like Biznass and Emperor Dinar but that's not the point...

Lately there have been groups here in Kuwait making advantage of this so-called business by getting together and forming a bond between their "tree members". They have formed some kind of underground community just like Fight Club and they have rules for that too.

Like Fight Club the first rule "Never talk about Fight Club", here the first rule is "Never talk about the business in front of anybody". The second rule in the movie is "Never Talk About Fight Club" *emphasis*, second rule in Quest Club is "Always Talk About Quest"... Erm, how is that possible conflicting with the first rule?

The third rule in the movie is "If this is your first day then you have to Fight", in Quest Club the third rule is "If this is your first day you have attend training". Training for brain-mass-destruction and how to spam people around you.

The last rule I recall in Fight Club people take off their clothes, except their pants of course, to conceal their background (rich, poor.. etc.)... in Quest Club you're ought to wear formal clothes also to conceal your background and give the best impression for the business "Dress to impress!".

And last but not least one of the funniest things ever, in the movie Edward Norton and Brad Pitt succeeded in making a strong group of loyal followers who would do anything without asking why. Here in Quest Club they have a motto that says "Shut-up, Listen, Do". In other words do what you're told to do without asking why! Damn it.

I'd rather die waiting to win Al-Jawhara million before being part of those stray followers.

Fiorentina FC signing Kuwaiti goalkeeper Ibrahim Al-Faresi

"KUWAIT (KUNA): General Manager of the Italian football club Fiorentina Sandro Mencucci will hold a press conference tomorrow, Sunday, to announce the signing of a transition contract of Kuwaiti goalkeeper Ibrahim Al-Faresi to the team. Fiorentina was ranked fourth in the Italian League for Professional Football (Lega Italiana Calcio Professionistico) last season. The Italian delegation will arrive this evening, accompanied by Al-Faresi's sport agent to seal the deal. Should the contract is signed; Al-Faresi would be the first Kuwaiti player in the stars-studded and widely-observed Italian League."

I'm surprised. Not that I doubt we have talents in the country but the fact that Ibrahim Al-Faresi doesn't play for a local team. I guess ramadan tournaments have better future for players than our retarded league. We better wish him luck.

A couple of years ago Ibrahim was playing football with his friends in front of the Bulgarian embassy here in Kuwait when an employee at the embassy took notice of Ibrahim and told him he should go play football in the Bulgarian league. He offered to help him and hook him up with the right people so Ibrahim decided to take the chance and traveled to Bulgaria where he tried out for a football team and ended up joining them.

After awhile Ibrahim realized he wanted more and so went to the FIFA website and sent an email to a licensed agent so he would be able to travel and play in any club without issues. His new agent took him to England first where he was going to get signed to Crystal Palace F.C. But due to the fact that if you want to play in the English Premiership you need to have a work permit and also need to have played in your countries league at one point, Ibrahim couldn't join them.

His agent then took him to try out at A.C. Siena in Italy. While there a very famous goalkeeper scout called Senior Silvano who had previously discovered the worlds best goalkeeper Gianluigi 'Gigi' Buffon told him not to sign up with A.C. Siena and instead offered to have him trained more so he could get him signed up in a better team. Ibrahim accepted and went and trained under the guidance of Senior. After a short period Senior took him to try out for A.C. Milan and ACF Fiorentina. Fiorentina where right away impressed and instantly offered him a spot on their team.

And thats basically the story of Ibrahim. In a weeks time he is leaving Kuwait and heading to Italy for some medical test and some more training before officially signing for the club. Its a great story and it just goes to show that there are a lot of untapped talents here in Kuwait. I've always believed that there are some amazing football players here in Kuwait but I think the football league here is just not as strong as it used to be to draw in these talents. Hopefully this story will prove to be an eyeopener."

Match Review | Germany 2 - 1 England

It's funny because England played and Germany won. Let's say ball possession was 75% England, 25% Germany.

Lampard translated a fine solo-play by Micah Richards on the right side of the field placing the ball inches between Lehmann and the goal post.

Later on, Kevin Kuranyi was lucky to be in the right place at the right time as Schneider crossed the ball from the right side directly towards the goal when Robinson was a few steps away and couldn't catch the ball, it fell right in front of Kuranyi who had no problem placing it safely in the goal.

Few minutes later, Germany pulled their best team work effort in the game where Hitzlsperger, Lahm, Schneider, and Pander played short passes before the latter literally BLAST* the ball from almost 30 meters into the upper left corner of Robinson's goal, marking one of the finest goals I have ever seen.

Both teams had chances to score some more goals (England for the most part) but neither had a good finish.

PS for Mooch: I know you're British but I don't know whether you're English or not. If you are then sorry mate. So much for the new Wembley, eh? :P

UEFA Champions | Bayern 2 vs 2 Milan

Today's event was the best so far. Bayern Munich managed to draw with AC Milan in Milan thanks to one man, Daniel Van Buyten. The solid defender who scored both goals for Bayern with his weaker foot (left foot) gave Bayern a draw that is more like a win.

To all Milan fans...
If you call that a penalty then I suggest you go play winning eleven and quit watching football.

Sebastian Deisler Retires From Football!

One of the world's finest playmakers and side midfield players has ended his career. Sebastian Deisler, German national and Bayern Munich football player, has retired from professional football due to serial injuries. He was injured four years ago and had gone through five surgeries in his right knee but he hasn't recovered.

"Injury-plagued Bayern and Germany midfielder Sebastian Deisler has announced his immediate retirement from professional football. The 27-year-old informed Munich general manager Uli Hoeneß of his decision on Monday evening, before going public with the news the following day." -- fcbayern.de

LOTTO | ZHERO GRAVITY

Today I passed at Sportsman Center at Salmiya and this got my attention. They've recently brought a new collection of football/soccer boots but this one stands out and is by far the sexiest looking football boot I've ever seen.

Lotto called it ZHERO GRAVITY due to its light weight and amazing flexibility, like if you're wearing nothing but socks, hence it hasn't gotten any laces. That is pure perfection for a guy like me.

Anyhow, I was about to buy it but when I saw THIS I cautiously retreated and have written it down on my wish list. :P
