van der Fart

Quote: "Rafael van der Vaart, a blast from the bench, emitting some greenhouse gasses ;-)

The stench on the bench forces Sneijder, Mathijsen, de Jong and Van der Sar to breathe heavily into their shirts.

In his own (rather poor) defence he says to Van der Sar, who stares him down: "Spanning.. 't is de spanning jongens..", i.e. "Tension guys, it's the tension..".

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for using our SHOP&SHIP service. Our aim is to continuously enhance your shopping experience with us.

Aramex has found it necessary to increase the SHOP&SHIP rates to offset the increase in fuel price and operating costs. Effective July 1st 2008, our new rates will be as follows:

First ½ kg K.D. 3.000
Each additional ½ kg K.D. 2.500

We appreciate your understanding as this situation is completely outside the scope of our direct control since fuel represents a significant variable cost in the provision of transportation services.

We want to assure you that our most important objective is to continue providing you with quality transportation services that meet your needs effectively. Our customer service teams are ready to answer any query you may have concerning the rate increase or any of our services.

Anyone got any better options than this shop&sh!t service?

3G iPhone

This should mean it will reach our market through our local cellular providers, I guess, though I'm sure it will cost much more than the US.

PPC takes an Uppercut

According to this site, PPC-based Macs will not benefit from the yet to come OS X 10.6 codename "Snow Leopard". This may not be accurate news but it's said that OS X 10.6 will be running pure Cocoa. In other words this draws the final line for older Macs where Intel-based Macs will wander around freely.

It would have been a major concern for me but as you know my PowerBook is already dead so I pity the guys who are still running PPC.
