I don't know whether my last blog entry has anything to do with this or not but I got a call from Aramex regarding my last issue.
"We are aware that you had two packages together in your US mailbox and they were shipped separately. Your current package is sent out for delivery. All you have to do is pay this shipment fees only, and the other package is free of charge once it arrives. Sorry for the inconvenience."
Well well... Who would have thought this could happen? I'm glad they initiated, it means they do care about their customers after all.

It's nice that you post this out of fairness. Gives me hope when I see people take such actions.
They normally don't offer discounts for delays. Or actually never as I recall, unless you scream it out that loud maybe!
So every Aramex user get a blog with hundreds of readers and keep complaining to get your money back.
glad that happens >:D

Totally off topic, Mac, did you see Bu Yousef switched? He's on a Mac and loving it?

Well I had to give them credit on that just to be fair. :)

This certainly shows the power of blogging. iLike. :)

It's not a discount. It's just that the packages should have shipped together.
I guess bloggers should start blackmailing aramex! :P
Neoark:
Yep, make sure you do this when you face the same problem. ;)

If it's about Aramex then I guess this is the first time they initiate with a good act. I don't know about other companies but hey, we're in the middle east. Almost nothing comes out easy. :\
