iPhone OS 3.0 is now available for download via iTunes.
Released @ 8:20pm Kuwait time.
UPDATE: Looks like we'll have to wait for a few hours (days maybe?!) to avoid the traffic on Apple's activation server. It's log-jammed so there's almost no chance for updating your iPhone / iPod within the next couple of hours unless you're one lucky leech.

I was trying to update since 4am Kuwait time up until 8:15pm but there was no sign of the update. Then later, exactly at 8:19pm on my watch the update came live.

updated it yesterday and have been fiddling with it ever since, can't see any really big change other than arabic.
Still can't seem to forward old messages =/

Abdul Mohsen : Have you tried hitting that BIG ol button on the top right corner of the Messaging session that clearly says "Edit" ? have you even tried copying and pasting the messages and send them as new if you couldn't find your way around forwarding ? :-)
Arabic isn't the only addition to the 3.0 firmware !! there's Cut/copy and paste, MMS, tethering , Voice notes, Push notifications and many more.

My point = we're getting all happy and psyched over features that the most basic mobile phones have had for years, minus bluetooth exchange and video call ofcourse.
And I dont know how I missed that BIG edit button, its so huge

It is exciting. However, there are some small glitches but it's all good. ;)
yeah well it turns out mms is not supported for 2g models :/
