School activities & P.E. competitions...

We ended our competitions semester ranking 5th overall (out of +10 schools) which is not so bad since the top three schools had quite a bunch of young athletes.

My boys won three medals in Track & Field (Shot Put: silver, 300m Sprint: bronze, 800m: bronze) and three more medals in Fitness Exercises & Testing (Standing Broad Jump: silver, 50m Sprint: bronze, Crunches: bronze).

Our Gymnastics team had a great chance of winning the competition but seems "wasta" can change the judges scores. My colleague argued with them to no avail and we went out empty handed. I'm sorry for the kids because they did so well yet they didn't win any place.

Knock-out games standings...

Football: Lost in semi final.
Basketball: Lost in semi final.
Handball: Lost second game.
Volleyball: Lost first game.
Table tennis: Lost first game.

I can hardly remember our good ol' government school gyms, they're so techno in color, don't know why though :D

But congrats! At least you got yourself some medals though judging your students as you mentioned before, they sounded hopeless!

Hehe, yeah retro colors. Blame it on "Fanniya" teachers. :P

Laa this is not Jeleeb Al-Sheyokh, we have some sane kids here.

If you saw how my kids were disappointed you'd burn down MOE. :/

Bas yalla hardluck!

Thanks. Next year we'll dominate.

They're my boys because out there I'm responsible for them, besides the fact that I took the best (well mannered respectful kids) and not a bunch of 3agad. ;p

Man, first time I hear someone say we did not win first position. Thank U :)

There is second position and fifth after all :P

It's like every year in every school, we got # 1
Who got number two I wonder

They tend to say we won so they don't disappoint their students. But who are we kidding? As Nelly said: "2 is not a winner and 3 nobody remembers" :P

You need to get in terms with it, it's good for your health. ;)

Yeah true. But still, at least honest.
