United Networks are now running on fiber network, as I have mentioned earlier. I got a call from United Networks asking me to confirm if my connection went up from 256kbps to 320kbps so here it is.
Practically, that's barely noticeable but at least the connection doesn't lag as much as it used to.

i use United Network dsl. i have this problem too "the lag thing". however, my adsl speed is 128. am i gonna get some benfits from this improvement?

I have no idea if 128 connections got a boost as well but I guess they should. Then again I might be wrong. :/
Check your modem setting and see if your connection have raised or not.
Or just call United Networks and ask about this.
